Looking toward heaven after a fall to earth

I believe God has ways of reach­ing people through tough times. I have personally experienced His wonderful ways of guiding my steps. I am a native of Balut Island in the Philippines, and I can testify how powerful our God is in calling His lost sheep. Four months ago I was struck by a tragedy that led me to Christ. Light for the village

Pusulur Village was full of adultery, corruption, drinking and idol worship. Here Maranatha built a church. A Seventh-day Adventist pastor and an assistant visited everyone in the village, inviting them to attend meetings. Gospel Outreach also began sponsoring a worker here named Obadiah. Saved from the bullet

As we visited families one day we happened to pass by a house that seemed abandoned. It was dilapidated and filled with cobwebs. But then we heard a man’s voice calling us to stop for a while. “Tell me what you’re doing,” he said.
