Gospel Outreach Adventures in Missions

As we seek to win others to Christ, bearing the burden of souls in our prayers, our own hearts will throb with the quickening influence of God's grace.

A message from the president

Wallace Mandigo

Many independent ministries help the Seventh-day Adventist Church take the Gospel to the world. Some are more supportive and loyal than others to the church. One of the most loyal is Gospel Outreach (GO).

In a very real sense, GO is not an independent ministry, because 100 percent of the 2,400 lay evangelists funded by this organization are employed by the regular mission sections of the church. These mission sections recruit, hire, train, and supervise the GO evangelists.

All of the officers, division directors, board members, and helpers are unpaid volunteers.

GO is just a fundraising ministry enabling the church to enter hundreds of otherwise unentered cities and villages. GO has no employees, because 100 percent of the officers, division directors, board members, and helpers are unpaid volunteers.

Claiming God's amazing promises, thousands of people each month trust that God means what He says, and they send a sacrificial gift.

"If men will become channels through which heaven's blessing can flow to others, the Lord will keep the channels supplied" (Counsels on Stewardship, p. 36).

"The more we bring to God's treasure house, the more we shall have to bring: for He will open ways before us, increasing our substance" (Our High Calling, p. 197).
