Enter His house with praise

Funds raised by Gospel Outreach and elsewhere helped rebuild the church. Years ago, GO worker Devi Bahadar Koirala (seated, front center) donated the land for the church building.

In the February newsletter last year, we shared the need for funds to complete the reconstruction of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Nepal. Years earlier, most of the church was destroyed by a petrol bomb. Church members, led by Gospel Outreach worker Devi Bahadar Koirala, faithfully continued to worship.

Reconstruction funds had been received from Adventists in Europe, but it was not enough. As the need was publicized, response was immediate. During the past year the church has been rebuilt.

Here is a short interview with Koirala, the Gospel Outreach worker who cares for this church:

Q: How many members do you have?

A: 50.

Q: How long did it take to rebuild this church?

A: Five months.

Q: Did any of the church members contribute in this construction?

A: Forty-five people contributed by volunteering their labor, one person per day for 45 days.

Q: Are you happy with the result?

A: Yes, I am more than happy and satisfied.

Your gifts have made it possible to extend the work being done here and elsewhere. Thank you.
