I recently began volunteering at Gospel Outreach and have been impressed that God is working in and through this place. This year, GO celebrates 20 years of spreading the gospel in the 10/40 Window.
As the new year begins we see numerous opportunities. GO has received requests for more than 1,000 additional workers. The requests have been approved by the respective divisions in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, reflecting plans in each area to spread the gospel further. The Lord is working through His people in a mighty way.
GO will fill these requests as the Lord impresses individuals to join His work through volunteering, praying and giving funds. Supporting local Bible workers who are trusted, who understand the needs of the people, and who are allowing the Lord to use them is resulting in thousands of souls being converted.
In Matthew 9:37 Jesus said to His disciples: “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.”
This is our challenge today. We each have an unbelievable opportunity to be one of His workers, where we are, and to help send workers to other areas too.
