Deaf ministry reaches Africa
What a difference two letters can make in Africa. Clifford Owusu-Gyamfi, an Adventist pastor in Ghana, wrote to me on Sept. 27, 2006, to describe the needs of the deaf people in his area. Just one month later, I received a letter from Henry Kamau, requesting help for him and his deaf friends in Mombasa, Kenya. Gains reported from historic Varanasi
The city of Varanasi, India, is being updated. All roads are being dug up for new sewage lines. The city has become a dust bowl. Land lines, electric service and telephone lines are disrupted. When we are in the city, electricity is not available; when electricity is turned on, we are away from the office for field work. Still, the Lord blesses us abundantly in many ways.
