As we prepared for Sabbath at Tulay Langilan Mission School in the Philippines, Auntie Lecinta told us about her fighting horse. She freed it because it had become a pet to everybody.
“On the seventh day of the week this horse will not roam around the village but instead will just stay at our house,” Auntie Lecinta said.
“Are you really sure?” I asked.
Everybody chimed in, “Yes, Sir! Just watch what happens tomorrow.”
As we walked around the village, we were stunned to see Kalunsawi, the fighting horse, going door to door. Like us, he was visiting all of the houses in the village on Friday. It was as if he were inviting people to worship
on Sabbath.
The next day, he stayed home. What a miracle! I saw it with my own two eyes: a horse reminding people that Sabbath is a holy time for worshiping God.
Later, after the Sabbath had passed, the horse roamed the village again.
