I’m Nikolai Petkevich, a Gospel Outreach health worker in Kazakhstan. We encounter a variety of people at our sanatorium.
One woman with diabetes had blood sugar levels several times higher than normal. She had to take insulin but hoped our 10-day treatment would help. After spending time with us, her indicators returned to normal, and she felt better than ever.
She was so impressed with the results that she told her three sisters and invited them to visit us too. She spoke highly of the eight simple principles of health, revealed by God, and how they worked wonders for her.
In another treatment course, we had a man who was always unhappy with something. He constantly asked trick questions, trying to provoke us. It was a challenge to deal with this, but we prayed for him. By the end of the treatment, he seemed to be a different person. We no longer saw any prejudice against Adventists in him. As he left, he even told us he wished there were more people like us.
Praise the Lord for this method of reaching people.
